Kart Hire - Club / Professional Racing
Club / Professional racing is for karters who own their own kart and are members of a registered karting club. They are required to be licensed by the Australian Karting Association (AKA).
The Australian Karting Association is the governing body of kart racing in Australia and all competition karting events are run under AKA rules.
Eastern Creek International Karting Raceway is not just a hire facility. Our Raceway is home to the North Shore Kart Club which is the largest kart racing club in Australia boasting over 1000 members.
The Eastern Creek complex is so advanced and versatile that it can quite comfortably cater for both hire karting and club / professional karting on the same day.
In early 1999 we hosted the Oceania Championships one of the worlds largest race meetings whilst casual hire karts raced on another part of the circuit.

Each day a particular circuit is designated as a practice track for licensed club karters.
Even though you have to be a licensed karter to use these facilities you do not have to compete on race days, or compete at all, as the circuit is available to casual karters. This means you can turn up and drive all day in your own kart. Please call us for more information on track availability and prices.
For more information on getting involved in club karting or joining the North Shore Kart Club, please contact us.
1999 Oceania Championships
In January 1999, Eastern Creek, in conjunction with the North Shore Kart Club and the Australian Karting Association, hosted one of the worlds most prestigious kart races: The 1999 Oceania Championships.
This meeting was held over 5 days, with the spectator crowd on the final day estimated to be in excess of 4000 people.
The Oceania Championships was a huge success and has paved the way for a new higher level of professionalism in Australian Karting.
